Stage Brings New Orleans to Miami Design District

MIAMI BEACH – The Stage, opening November 12th, 2010, in Miami’s Design District offers a home for many aspiring artists. With the stage as the focal point, performances will be the main attraction. Musical and theatrical performances, films, and artistic displays are all in the mix. With its 1960’s New Orleans style, The Stage presents the public with a unique space for not only entertainment but also corporate and private events.

The Stage will carry their New Orleans flavor through to their signature cocktails and delightful dishes provided by Danny Jimenez and Carlos Alvarez. Vino E Olio Set for October 13 Opening

MIAMI BEACH – Vino E Olio will open October 13th as the Design District’s newest restaurant.  Last December, a lucky handful of Art Basel goers were treated to a preview of the restaurant and it has been teasing onlookers ever since.  Wait no more, the hungry can eat and eat they will – tortelli stuffed with pear, ricotta and pecorino cheese served with a beet root sauce, duck breast served with a red onion confit, and the menu goes on.

Alessandro Cecconi’s Vino E Olio will bring a new level of Italian cuisine never before seen in Miami. At the helm, Chef Andrea Menichetti is sure to delight the most discerning tastebuds with his rustic Tuscan cuisine. Chef Andrea Menichetti will turn out some of his most well known dishes, along with seasonal fare made with fresh, local and imported ingredients.  Guests will have the option to dine al fresco on the stunning outdoor terrace or at the Chef’s Table, Vino E Olio’s Pièce de résistance, a glass enclosed space allowing guests to observe the magic in Vino E Olio’s kitchen while maintaining a sense of privacy.
