Fans Fight to Save Fillmore Jackie Gleason

MIAMI BEACH – A plan to revamp the Miami Beach Convention center includes demolishing The Fillmore Miami Beach at The Jackie Gleason Theater.

Miami Beach needs this historic theater to keep quality live acts coming to Miami. For those who visit Miami and love it, it is a treasure. Unfortunately, some interests in Miami Beach wish to tear it down.
