The car was purchased by Apple Corp. Ltd. for a certain John Crittle. Mr. Crittle was a fashion designer/tailor (Dandy Fashions). Apple Corp. sponsored his work and created Apple Tailoring for him in London's Kings Road. Crittle drove the car along the Kings Roads and other fashionable areas of Swingin' London. The car has often been mistaken for John Lennon's psychedelic Rolls Royce in which he was chauffeured about London.
