Go to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_General_R._E._Callan_%28AP-139%29

This is a Wikipedia entry for the USS Arnold (ne USS General R. E. Callan (AP-139))

Hope this helps. Stay tuned for the full 'Sink the Vandenberg' Documentary!

I am trying to find the name of the sister ship that was converted to a missle tracking vessel along with the USS Hoyt S. Vandenberg. Both ships were refitted at the Bethlehem Shipyard in Brooklyn, NY in the early 1960's. I thought its name was the USS Henry "Hap" Arnold but can find no information on her.
